Corpus Christi School has received a $5,000 grant from the Highmark Foundation for the 2024-2025 Academic Year! We are excited to educate our students on healthy choices.
The program is designed to promote nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction for Corpus Christi students, parents, and our community.
The following initiatives will be a part of the “Crusaders for Good Health” program.
*This year we will be planting a Corpus Christi garden in our raised garden beds*
*We will also be growing spices through our indoor hydroponics gardens on our first and second floors*
*We will be holding monthly salad bars where students are encouraged to try new fruits and vegetables*
*Workshops will be planned for the upper grades levels to focus on how to cope with stress and anxiety*
*Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th will participate in weekly gym classes with new gym equipement*
*A new outdoor classroom learning environment will be available for our students and staff*
Our goal is to promote health and wellness and keep our students and families healthy through our “Crusaders for Good Health” program.
