My dear parishioners

This is a confusing time for everyone. There is a fear and anxiety over the unknown. Our faith routines have become abnormal. We are facing an unimaginable Holy week this year. It is a challenging time for us that we are forced to remain apart during this Holy week. With the suspension of public masses, there will be no Palm Sunday, no Triduum liturgies and no joyous Easter Sunday mass in our parish.

As you know I am celebrating the Holy Eucharist privately due to COVID 19 Pandemic. I am sure that you will be longing to be physically present and receive His precious body and blood during the Holy Week.  I will be praying every day for each and every one of you before the blessed sacrament during this Holy week as we face this COVID pandemic. Today we are facing the same anguish experienced by Christ in the garden of Gethsemane.  We must trust in the Lord that we are in God’s hands and no one has the power to tear us away from God. Let us pray earnestly for a quick end to the Coronavirus outbreak in our country and around the world.
